My Why
I’m pretty sure no one on Facebook or Instagram can remember a time when I didn’t take photos - A time when I didn’t have some sort of camera in hand. Okay, well maybe just an Aunt or so will, but the point is… I have received numerous complements on the photos I have taken, I have had photos published in a Kodak blog/spotlight, I have had photos used by businesses, and now I can finally say I have my photos hanging in other people’s houses. It’s exciting. But the real question is why? Why have I had a camera in hand since I was about 5 years old? And why do I choose to share the images captured with you?
I truly enjoy capturing what I see, sharing it, and memorializing it. The breathtaking views nature gives last only a fleeting moment. You can never recreate an exact moment in time or relive it. Even two people in the same location have two different views and experiences. Then there is the challenge, you can be early to capture a moment, but even 1 second too late, and that moment is gone. You cannot tell the sun to rewind and rerise today. That bee pollinating the flower may come back, but he won’t wait nor be in that exact perfect position. The suns rays will be at a new angle, the clouds shifted, and who knows, the next perfect shot, the sky is now grey instead of hues of purple and pink. It’s all these moments that I have the ability to capture, that I want to share with you, knowing that you can never see that exact moment if I don’t.
The Best Part
All these images are available to you to browse at your leisure any time you want.
The goal is to share many photos across my Facebook and Instagram pages and many of these photos will be showcased on my website Portfolio at www.danimalonephotography.com
I also encourage all of you to do the same. Look for something in your day, even as little as a bird on a branch, and take in the beauty for what it is... and share it!
